I'M IN ART SCHOOL! :D
the portfolio day yesterday was so intense, so much different from the other one. this one, the students of the Huntington school of something had all their work set up and the reps came to you, not the other way. it was still a lot of waiting, but it was better than Philadelphia by a long shot. i was judged left and right from the fancy art students who have the money to pay $8k per year to send their kid to this fancy school. i sat in the corner in my ripped jeans and cut shirt with my ipod and phone. whatever, it was a good day.
but so this school, the school of the art institute of chicago, i was standing there with my paperwork waiting for the rep to come back and this asian kid was talking to me. keep in mind, i haven't talked to anyone but reps from 10:30-5ish. he told me that saic is his top school because it's super hard to get into and if you get in, you're super good. and you'll get a better education. and guess what, my portfolio was approved. and so was his. HOLLLAAAAAAAAA
